From shared roots to a thriving business
Colin and Philippa McDowell met in 1993 while studying Amenity Horticulture at Writtle College and earned their diplomas in 1996. After gaining hands on experience across the sector they turned a shared passion into a business launching Plant Style Ltd. in 2002.

What began as a small domestic landscaping service has since grown into a trusted partner for major commercial developments, delivering green spaces that leave a lasting impact. Our team now delivers and maintains high-profile developments, infrastructure schemes, and public realm projects throughout the UK.
